THE FINANCE INDUSTRY CROWNS A NEW FICAP ROCKSTAR

Trent McArdle from ANZ takes home the RockStar prize whilst the finance industry raises over $100,000 for charity
Sydney, 22 March 2013 – Trent McArdle from ANZ was crowned the 2013 FICAP RockStar at the annual ‘Who wants to be a RockStar event’ held Upstairs at the Beresford last night. His rendition of ‘Kryptonite’ by 3 Doors Down won him the Perpetual Best Male Artist Award as well as the RockStar title.
The Finance Industry was abuzz as it was treated to performances from twelve talented artists and raised over $100,000 for RedKite’s Support a Young Person Program and YWCA NSW’s FICAP Voices Mentoring program.
Marnie McLaren, FICAP Chairperson said, “Every year we are humbled by the talent and generosity of the financial services community. This year, with the support of our sponsors, guests on the night and 10% of bar sales, we will be able to donate over $100,000 to charity.
Since inception, we have been able to donate over $700,000 to worthwhile charities.”
